PERFORMANCE

The purest Zoom-Zoom yet

Experience the joy of MX-5’s sporty driving dynamicsThis iconic roadster is all about pure driving pleasure, responding to the driver with Jinba Ittai dynamics as though it were an extension of your own body. The first Mazda MX-5 built with SKYACTIV Technology, it’s significantly lighter than the previous generation, with a sleeker, more rigid body and the lowest centre of gravity to date.

SAFETY

Drive with confidence

The high-strength SKYACTIV-BODY is engineered to minimise harm in the event of a collision. Front airbags for both passengers and side-airbags with head-protecting cells safeguard against impact even with the top down. ABS brakes feature Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), which matches braking to vehicle load, while Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) boosts stopping power when emergency braking is sensed. Limited-Slip Differential (LSD) applies equal torque to both wheels, minimising wheel-spin (manual only).

TECHNOLOGY

Designed for the driver

A bold and unique road presence is the mark of any great roadster. The Mazda MX-5 delivers, bringing you Mazda’s signature KODO Design at its most exciting. Every element and proportion comes together to bring the driver closer to the car and more in tune with the road, and the world around them. The soft-top glides seamlessly away from view for wind-in-the-hair exhilaration, lowered by hand with one simple action. When closed, the roof reinforces the striking shape of the vehicle, adding a more defined silhouette.
